The Man behind Mantar: Bhupinder Singh

Bhupinder Singh, the Founder of Mantar, comes with decades of experience in financial services globally. He is the Founder & CEO of InCred Group, which comprises of InCred Finance and InCred Capital. InCred is a leading NBFC in India having its presence in multiple cities. In FY24, InCred Finance was the second company to cross the AUM INR 8000 Cr mark and become a Unicorn.
Prior to InCred, he has worked at Deutsche Bank for 16 years in various capacities, in London and Singapore. In his most recent role, he co-headed the Corporate Banking and Securities (‘CB&S’) unit at Deutsche Bank for the Asia Pacific region, based out of Singapore.
He also co-owns the Manipal Tigers Cricket team along with Manipal Group, which won the
Legends League T20 in December 2023 under the leadership of Harbhajan Singh.
Passionate about food from an early age, Bhupinder Singh always had an inclination toward the hospitality sector. He felt there was a need to bridge the gap between luxury and affordability In India. This vision of changing the culinary landscape came to life when in 2023, he decided to step into the hospitality industry with the 22000 sq.ft. multi-cuisine restaurant ‘Mantar’ at his home town – Bhopal. And within a few months the restaurant is being regarded as one of the top fine dine restaurants at Bhopal. Now with a successful foothold in his home town, he plans to take his vision to other cities of India.
